Today I visited a coffee shop I was so curious about in the heart of Naxxar. This small pretty-lookin’ shop is called Flora’s, and it’s a perfect place to catch up with friends or spend a cozy afternoon at. I must say its lunch menu is limited to a selection of salads and bread (baguettes, buns, bagels, sandwiches and wraps). One food item that appealed to me for its unusual combination of ingredients has been the Apple, Cheddar Cheese, and Mustard Bagel. On the other hand, it has a great selection of cold and hot drinks ranging from iced teas, coolers, smoothies and milkshakes to special teas and coffees.
Some cool flavours include:
- Nutella milkshake;
- Peanut Butter milkshake;
- Fresh Bananas milkshake;
- Apple & Orange iced tea;
- Green iced tea;
- Berry iced tea;
- Caramel iced latte.
At the counter one is met with a delicious sight of colourful cupcakes and cookies. A wide selection of cake slices is also available; freshly baked scones; brownies; banana and walnut; Victoria sponge … However, what I liked best is its setting that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a cute doll house. It’s decorations across the wall and wooden furniture with sweet displays make you fall in love with the place!
